London close the gap on Birmingham

London Metro A were unbeaten in their four games in the second round of league fixtures in the Partially Sighted Football League in Birmingham on the 8th November.

Last season's Division One champions won three games and drew one to close the gap on league leaders’ Birmingham and are now level on points.

In their first game London demolished the North West Scorpions 6 to 2, before holding Birmingham to a 3 to 3 draw.

London finished the day with a 5 to 2 victory over bottom side RNC Bulls and a 3 to 2 victory over Loughborough.

Elsewhere, Birmingham started the day well by defeating Loughborough 5 to 1 before drawing with London Metro A.

Despite being in fine form in front of goal, the league leaders suffered a surprise first defeat of the season; losing 5 to 4 to newly promoted North West Scorpions.

In their final game Birmingham defeated RNC Bulls 5 to 2.

Meanwhile, last season's Division Two champions, North West also defeated RNC Bulls 2 to 1 and Loughborough 3 to 0 and currently sit third in the table.

RNC Bulls had a tough day, losing all four of their games and are three points behind fourth placed Loughborough.
