Rules
There are currently two shooting disciplines on offer.
- Supported – here the shooter rests the rifle on a “Belgian Spring Stand” which takes the weight and gives a limited degree of stability. All shooters start with this discipline and the majority continue this way.
- Free Standing – this is only suitable for those who are physically able to support the weight of the rifle (approx 5kg) without any outside help.
From a competitive point of view there are individual leagues and championships for both disciplines.
The supported league currently has ten divisions each with six shooters competing. It caters for all abilities ranging from a top average in Div.1 of 100 to an average of 58.2 in Div 10.
The free standing league currently has two divisions with averages ranging from 94.00 to 68.00.
