Held at Sansome Walk, Worcester
For the second successive year ‘Children in Need’ supported the event, and everyone involved is most grateful to them for their continuing support.
A total of eleven schools/organisations, coming from as far apart as Edinburgh, Kent and Exeter took part, with approximately 80 competitors vying for honours. The team from RBS Edinburgh undertook a three-day journey to participate!
Competitors had an enjoyable day, working hard to realise their individual potential, whilst participating as valued team members.
Ben Mustill-Rose, of New College, Worcester, set a new Gala Record of 23.55 seconds in the boys U15 B1 Breaststroke event.

(Copies of the full Results Sheet are available from BBS Office).
Gillian Parker, (BBS National Development Manager), had indicated a willingness to assist with organisation and found herself in the important role of ‘Chief Timekeeper’. Sorry Gillian, but you did such a good job that we would like to book you for next year!
There is a long list of people we would like to thank for their support and collaboration:
British Blind Sport
Dina Murdie
Teaching & Support Staff from all the schools
Students from University College Worcester who acted as timekeepers
Sansome Pool staff
Parents and families
and, above all, the young people who participated so keenly and sportingly.
We look forward to another successful event next year!
